Studio Réédition’s neckwear explores the aesthetics of age and decay, pleading for a new stance on beauty, time and imperfection.
The Lace Decay Choker is born out of the juxtaposition of burnt white lace, discarded upholstery fabric samples, pearl embroideries and paint. Visible cuts, seams, threads and fire damage are part of the design and invite you to question what is considered a wearable piece of garment.
Each accessory is made to order by hand in Paris, making it a truly unique piece. Hence the following,
Expect subtle variations in fabrics’ burning and embroideries placement. For any specifics, please don’t hesitate to get in touch so I can create your own custom version. Width, eyelets colour, closing cords options as well as the extent of fire damage can be discussed.
The corset-like closure ensures the piece is adjustable. However, it is always best to work from your own measurements. Please share your neck (or wrist) size when making your purchase in the order details or contact me directly.
I will do my best to work on your piece as soon as possible, but please expect a delivery time of up to one week from order to shipping. Creating takes time :)
